Directs Department Managers to deliver and maintain effective and compliant programs.-- Monitors those programs to ensure they are in place and program administration is consistent and equitable. Directs the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic plans. Directs the development and implementation of regulatory compliance, manpower and succession plans. Directs the annual operating and capital budgets preparation and compliance.--Typical EducationBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or universityRelevant Experience10+ years related experience and/or trainingRequired CertificationsOther InformationKnowledge of process and project engineering. --Knowledge of project administration. Understanding of state and federal wage and hour laws.-- Understanding of employment regulations, such as ADA, FMLA, Worker Comp, ERISA, EEOC, etc. Knowledge of GAAP accounting, budgets, strategic planning and cost accounting. Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance. Knowledge of industry, competition, raw materials, and processing cost.Skills: Computer skills. Microsoft Office software. Excellent written and oral communication ability. Comprehension, reasoning and problem-solving ability. Excellent interpersonal skills ability. Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Leadership/managerial ability. Listening ability. Ability to manage and supervise multiple departments and disciplines.Additional Comments: Maintaining consistent production of plant through coordination of departments. Maintaining the focus of all personnel on the safe, efficient operation of the plant from the incoming raw material and maintenance stocks to the shipment of product. Managing employee issues to maintain a positive outlook and improve morale while continuing to maintain profitability.
