    • Job Requirements
    • Must have experience with ventilators, high flow, chest tubes, IV placement, experience with central lines, urinary catheter placement, NG placement, trach care
    • Procedures performed on unit include: sedation, set up for ART lines, chest tubes
    • Patient Experience requirements: looking for previous PICU experience, trauma & burn preferred
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 7:00PM - 7:00AM with rotating weekends
      • Scheduling requirements: schedule 1 month at a time
      • Weekend Requirement: 50% weekends depending on needs
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Beds: 6
        • Cost Center: 645
        • Patient Ratios: 1:2 (sometimes 3 if they are step down patients or Peds patients)
        • Unit staffing description: RN's only - no CNA's or Unit Secretary
        • Type of equipment: Ventilators, central lines, art lines, alaris pumps
        • Documentation system: Meditech
        • Floating policy: will float to other units if PICU is low census
        • On Call Expectations: [not specified]
        • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, can wear a pediatric friendly top
